Port 80 Canberra: Friday 10 February
Hi all,
For anyone in Canberra who didn’t receive the email, the second Port 80 Canberra meeting was held today after the combined WSG/W3C meeting today.
Must say, pretty disappointed in the local crowd turnout - only 3 from Canberra there, overshadowed by the massive Sydney mob (four people) - but at least we managed to take up a whole table and make enough noise to make it look/sound like a decent sized crowd.
But next time … there better be a LOT more people come along! Let me know what day is better - I’m organising this for YOU people so talk to me and tell me what is going to work for you.
I can tell you we had a great time there, with Russ, Peter … and a few others …
Ok ok, Lisa, Amit, Ajay, Ruth and Damo.
All the rest of you - you missed OUT!
Alot of people are talking about it:

Yeah about the same turnout as last time - except this time there were more Sydney people than Canberra!! Search flickr in about an hour and you’ll see plenty of the meeting

Nat and I are considering an overnighter to Sydney for the next Sydney WSG (hopefully we can rope in some more Canberrans).
