Now on twitter!

Prompted by Adaptive Path getting on twitter - now I am too :-)

Update, 2 hours into it:

Well, twitter is now sitting in my sidebar over in the corner there - but not quite sure what I want to use it for yet. I’m thinking that there needs to be some layering - different scopes of messages to provide context to more detailed and up-to-date messages without making it neccessary to confirm the context in each message.

So for example - “What am I doing?” as far as employement or year long plans, then “What am I doing?” as in current projects and finally “What am I doing?” as in right now.

Although my first two messages are instant right now scope, I don’t think I’ll be using it for that. Probably more project level scope - what am I working on this week sort of thing, with the odd exception if appropriate.

Twitter Submitter is an very simple HTML POST facility. I have an old computer and all of these nifty tools are available for Macs and Vista - but I’m running Win95. So I made Twitter Submitter which is only 18 lines of HTML and easy to modify even for the technically challenged. I hope it helps somebody in their design of superior Twitter updater software!
