jParallax
OK I know I’ve been a bit behind in my JavaScript animation libraries … I’ve only used YUI (pronounced Why-You-Eye) for functional controls and have yet to play with Dmitry Baranovskiy’s Raphaël for vector graphics or jQuery … but Russ posted a link to this new animation library this morning: jParallax. You’ve got to have a play with it. Basically it makes animated interfaces feel 3D by relatively adjusting response to input sensitivity based on assigned “depth” values.
Oh also go read the interview Dmitry did with Andrew Tetlaw from SitePoint about Raphaël.
