Remember me?

Should websites that require you to log in be focussed on convenience or personal information privacy and security?

Collage of website authentication and log-in screens. There’s been some discussion over the last couple of days at UX Exchange about websites that ask if you want them to remember your password so you don’t have to log in every time you want to use the site. There’s been a bit of speculation but I want to get some hard data so I’ve set up a survey.

I’d really appreciate if you’d spend 20 seconds and help increase the user experience community’s knowledge on this subject by completing the survey:

Survey: Websites and your privacy (the survey has now closed, please see the results)
